The Enhanced Premium Tax Credit (eAPTC), which allowed the government to increase eligibility & expand assistance to lower the cost of health insurance, will expire Dec 31, 2025

Enrollees with incomes slightly above 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL) could face a “subsidy cliff,” where they lose their subsidies and must pay the full price of a Marketplace plan.

IMPORTANT

The APTCs, as part of the Affordable Care Act, remain in place.
