What is CSG Quote tools?
CSG is a quoting tool available through your Agent Center that allows you to compare Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity, and Dental plans from multiple carriers in one place. You can use CSG to quickly review plan options, compare rates, and generate quotes without needing to be contracted with a carrier first. Messer recommends using CSG for quoting purposes only, as enrollments and applications must be completed directly through the carrier portal or your broker portal. CSG helps streamline the quoting process and gives you an easy way to compare available products across participating carriers.
How To Access CSG
You can access CSG directly in two ways:
Go to www.messerfinancial.com
Log in to your Agent Center
Click on Quote Tools
Select the direct link to CSG or click the link below
If you do not yet have a CSG account, simply click “Create an Account” on the login page to request access.
What can you Quote in CSG?
CSG is available for quoting only in the following product categories:
Medicare Supplement
Hospital Indemnity
Dental
IMPORTANT:
Messer advises using CSG for quote purposes only and recommends visiting the carrier portal to submit enrollments.
Contracting Requirements
You do not need to be contracted with a carrier to request access or run quotes in CSG.
To complete an enrollment, you must be properly contracted with the carrier.
When you move forward with an application, you will be directed to:
The carrier’s website, or
Your broker portal
Be sure your carrier contracting is in place before submitting business.
Important Information About E-Applications in CSG
You may see an option inside CSG that allows you to complete an e-application.
Please note:
E-applications completed within CSG do not process or submit enrollment.
Applications must be completed directly through the carrier or your broker portal.
For the most accurate premium prices change the effective date to the 1st day of the month when the policy will take effect.
Cigna Medicare Supplement
Cigna does not appear inside CSG for quoting.
However, we do offer Cigna Medicare Supplement, and it can be quoted and submitted outside of CSG through the appropriate carrier process.
