ACA Plan Enrollment Requirements in My MFG

Rules about quoting and enrolling for ACA inside of MyMFG

Written by Micaela Daiana Caruccio

To quote and enroll in ACA plans, agents must have:

  1. Active FFM ID

  2. EDE Connection – reauthentication is required every 12 hours

  3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – via text message (SMS) to a registered phone number or via phone call.

  4. Provide Your FFM ID: Your FFM ID is your portal.cms.gov username. Ensure this is added to your MyMFG account.

  5. Re-authenticate Your EDE Connection: Periodic re-authentication is required by CMS. When you log in to MyMFG, an FFM ID pop-up should appear. Complete the re-authentication process to restore functionality

  6. Complete the FFM Certification: This certification is mandatory and can be completed on the portal.cms.gov website.

  7. Upload the Certification: After completing the FFM certification, upload your completion certificate to the Training tab in SureLC. This ensures that your certification is verified and recorded in the system.

Note: All ACA plans available in the client’s zip code can be quoted and enrolled in My MFG regardless of Ready to Sell (RTS) status.
