Step 1: Log into MyMFG
Log into your MyMFG account using your unique username, which is a combination of your first initial, last initial, and the last four digits of your SSN.
Example: If your name is John Doe and your SSN ends in 3456, your username is JD3456.
Step 2: Identity Verification
MyMFG will prompt you to enter a six-digit code sent via text message to the phone number associated with your account to complete two-factor authentication. You can also choose to receive the code via phone call by selecting that option. Once two-factor authentication is successfully completed, you will be directed to your agent dashboard.
A verification code will be sent to the new phone number when it is updated.
Each agent must register their own unique phone number.
Sharing a phone number to receive authentication codes is not permitted.
How to Request a Phone Number Reset
To reset the phone number used for MyMFG 2-Step Authentication, select Talk to an Agent in the chat window, or call Producer Support at (866) 568-9649.
Step 3: Authenticate EDE Connection for ACA Quote and Enrollment
CMS requires agents to reauthenticate their EDE (Enhanced Direct Enrollment) connection every 12 hours before performing an EDE person search to quote and enroll in ACA through MyMFG.
To begin the reauthentication process, click the green Reauthenticate EDE Connection button.
You will be redirected to CMS.gov, where you must enter your CMS User ID and password, then agree to the terms and conditions and click Sign In.
Next, verify your identity by selecting where you would like to receive the security code — via email or phone — and enter the code you receive.
Once reauthentication is successfully completed, you will be returned to your My Profile page in MyMFG.
