How to Log Into MyMFG

This article provides step-by-step instructions for logging into MyMFG—Messer Financial Group's Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) platform—completing two-factor authentication, and reauthenticating the EDE connection through CMS.gov.

Step 1: Log into MyMFG

Users will log into their MyMFG account using their unique username, which is a combination of their first initial, last initial, and the last four digits of their SSN.

For example, if John Doe has an SSN ending in 3456, his username would be JD3456.


Step 2: Identity Verification

To remain compliant and protect security, users/agents are required to verify their identity.

MyMFG will prompt them to enter a six-digit code sent via text message to the phone number associated with their account to complete two-factor authentication.

Agents can also choose to receive the code via phone call by selecting that option.

Once two-factor authentication is successfully completed, they will be directed to their agent dashboard.

  • A verification code will be sent to the new phone number when it is updated.

  • Each agent must register their own unique phone number.

  • Sharing a phone number to receive authentication codes is not permitted.

How to Request a Phone Number Update

To update the phone number used for My MFG 2-Step Authentication, please submit a request by:

  • Selecting “Talk to an Agent”, or

  • Calling the Producer Support Team at 866-568-9649


Step 3: Authenticate EDE connection for ACA Quote/Enrollment

CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) requires agents to reauthenticate their EDE (Enhanced Direct Enrollment) connection every 12 hours before performing an EDE person search to quote and enroll in ACA through MyMFG.

To begin the reauthentication process, agents should click the green ‘Reauthenticate EDE Connection’ button.”

MyMFG users will be redirected to CMS.gov, where they must enter their unique CMS User ID and password and then click "Agree to our terms and conditions" and then click sign in.

Next, they will need to verify their identity by selecting where they would like to receive the security code, via e-mail or phone. If they select "phone" they have to click the blue box that says "receive a code via SMS" and enter that security code. If they select email they will receive a code to the email associated with their CMS.gov account and they will have to enter in that code.

Once the reauthentication has been successfully completed they will be taken back to MyMFG into their "My Profile" which indicates they have successfully logged into their MyMFG account.
