To quote and enroll ACA plans in MyMFG, agents must meet two requirements before access can be activated: a valid FFM ID on file and completed ACA certifications for the current plan year.
What is an FFM ID?
An FFM ID (Federally Facilitated Marketplace ID) is the unique username assigned to an agent when they register on the CMS Agent Broker Portal. It is required to access EDE (Enhanced Direct Enrollment) features in MyMFG, including ACA Person Search, quoting, and enrollment.
Without an FFM ID on file in MyMFG, the EDE tab and ACA enrollment options will not be visible or available to the agent.
How to find your FFM ID
Your FFM ID is the username you use to log into the CMS Agent Broker Portal at portal.cms.gov. It is not the same as your NPN. If you are unsure of your FFM ID, log into the CMS portal and locate it under your profile.
ACA certifications
In addition to your FFM ID, you must complete the required ACA certifications for the current plan year through the CMS Agent Broker Portal before ACA access can be granted in MyMFG. These certifications are renewed annually and must be current.
How to request ACA access
To request ACA quoting and enrollment access in MyMFG, contact MyMFG Support and provide the following:
Your full name
Your NPN
Your FFM ID
Once your FFM ID is confirmed and your certifications are verified, our team will activate your ACA access. After activation, sign out of MyMFG and sign back in for the changes to take effect.
Important: If your FFM ID has changed or was entered incorrectly, your EDE access may stop working even if it worked before. If you experience this, contact support with your updated FFM ID.
