Overview
MyMFG allows you to bulk-upload your existing client list so you can manage all of your clients in one place. This guide walks you through downloading the template, preparing your file, and completing the upload.
Note that this is for Client Profiles in the CRM portion of MyMFG. There is no bulk upload process for bringing in applications completed on other platforms.
How to Upload Your Client List
Step 1: Click on the Clients tab.
Step 2: Select View Client List.
Step 3: Click Upload Client List.
A pop-up window will appear with:

Instructions for completing and uploading your file
Step 4: Download the Client Import Template by clicking the link in the pop-up.
Step 5: Fill out the template with your client information. See the section below for field requirements.
Step 6: Save the completed file and upload it using the pop-up window.
Step 7: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your upload.
Preparing the Client Import Template
When filling out the template, keep the following in mind:
All columns marked with an asterisk (*) are required. If any required field is left blank, the upload will not process successfully.
Do not rename, reorder, or delete any columns in the template β the system expects the exact format provided.
Save the file as a .csv or .xlsx (whichever the template uses) before uploading.
Avoid special characters in fields like name and address that could cause import errors.
Double-check that phone numbers and zip codes are formatted correctly and haven't been auto-trimmed by Excel (e.g., a zip code of 07001 may display as 7001 β format the column as text to prevent this).
After the Upload
Once your file is uploaded successfully:
Your clients will appear in the Client List under the Clients tab
You can click on any client to open their profile, add notes, run quotes, or start enrollments
If any rows failed to import, review the error details provided and correct the data before re-uploading those records
Troubleshooting
My upload failed or no clients appeared.
Check that all required fields (marked with *) are completed and that you are using the original template without modifications to the column headers.
Some clients imported but others didn't.
Rows with missing or incorrectly formatted required fields will be skipped. Review the error details, fix the affected rows, and re-upload just those records.
Zip codes or phone numbers look wrong after upload.
This is usually caused by Excel removing leading zeros. Before entering data, format those columns as "Text" in Excel to preserve formatting.
I uploaded duplicate clients.
You can delete duplicate entries by going to the client's profile, clicking Client Actions in the top right, and selecting Delete Client.
