Contacts

How do I upload a list of contacts?

  1. Navigate to the Contacts tab in the left-side navigation menu.

  2. Click the Import Contacts button above the contact list.

  3. Drag and drop your .csv file into the upload area, or click Upload a File and select your file. Click Next.

  4. On the Map screen, confirm that each column from your file is matched to the correct contact field. Correct any mismatched columns using the selector under Contact Fields. Click Next.

  5. On the Details screen, name the import, confirm that all contacts have consented to be contacted, and click Submit.

Only .csv files are supported. If your file is saved as an Excel or Google Sheets file, save it as a .csv before uploading. Contacts may take a few minutes to appear after submission.

How do I filter my contacts?

  1. Navigate to the Contacts tab.

  2. Click More Filters in the top right corner.

  3. Select the field you want to filter by and set the filter condition.

  4. Click Apply and close the filter panel to view the results.

To use more than one filter at the same time, add a second filter and select either And (both conditions must match) or Or (either condition must match). To save a filtered view for future use, click Save as Smart List before closing the filter panel. Smart Lists update automatically as contact records change.

How do I add multiple contacts to an automation at once?

  1. Navigate to the Contacts tab.

  2. Select the contacts you want to add. Check individual boxes, or use the checkbox next to the Name column header to select all. To select contacts across all pages, click Select all [number] records after checking the box.

  3. Click the Add to Automation button above the contact list.

  4. Select the automation under Workflow and add a short description under Action.

  5. Choose a delivery option: send all at once, send at a scheduled time, or send in drip mode (batches over time).

  6. Click Add to Automation.

To monitor progress, go to the Bulk Actions tab in the Contacts section.

Automations

How do I edit an automation?

  1. Navigate to the Automation tab in the left-side navigation menu.

  2. Double-click the name of the automation to open the editing window.

  3. Click on any block to edit it. Blocks are either triggers (what starts the automation) or actions (what the automation does at each step).

  4. Make your changes in the editing menu on the right side of the screen.

  5. Click Save Action in the bottom right corner after editing each block. Unsaved changes are lost.

  6. Click Save in the top right corner when finished editing the full automation.

How do I turn an automation on or off?

In the Automation tab, the status to the right of each automation name shows whether it is active. Published means the automation is running. Draft means it is inactive.

To turn an automation on, click the three dots to the right of the automation name and select Publish. You can also toggle the status using the toggle in the top right corner of the automation editing window.

What are Custom Values?

Custom Values are variables that automatically pull information from a contact's record or the contact's assigned agent into an automation step. They are identified by double curly braces, for example {{user.name}} or {{contact.email}}.

The text before the period identifies the source — user refers to the agent assigned to the contact, and contact refers to the contact record itself. The text after the period identifies the specific field being pulled.

To insert a Custom Value into an automation step, click the tag icon inside the field where you want to add it. A searchable list of all available Custom Values will appear. Do not remove existing Custom Values from automation steps.

Email Integration

How do I connect my email account to MyMFG Plus?

MyMFG Plus supports a two-way sync with Gmail and Outlook. Once connected, emails sent and received in your personal email account are tracked inside MyMFG Plus.

  1. Navigate to Settings in the bottom left corner of the page.

  2. Select the My Profile tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Email (2-way sync) section.

  4. Select Gmail or Outlook and click Connect.

  5. Follow the authorization steps for your email provider.

Once connected, the account will show a status of Connected in the Email (2-way sync) section.
