Guide describing how to send a scope of appointment in MyMFG.

Written by Micaela Daiana Caruccio

MyMFG makes it easy to stay compliant.

You can send a virtual scope of appointment to clients by:

  • Going to Clients β†’ Client Signatures β†’ Send SOA Link

  • During the Medicare quote process or

  • During the Medicare enrollment process

  • You can also upload a SOA by going to your client's profile β†’ SOA History section and clicking Upload SOA or during the quote/enrollment process.

Scope of appointment links can be sent either via e-mail or text and during the quote/enrollment process you can also upload an SOA and the client can review and sign electronically.

Steps

Record Retention

All signed SOAs and recorded consents collected through MyMFG are securely stored for 10 years, helping you remain compliant with CMS record retention requirements.

Key Reminder for Agents

Always obtain and document a valid SOA before discussing Medicare plan specifics. Proper SOA collection protects you, your client, and your business.

If you need more detailed CMS guidance regarding Scope of Appointment requirements, refer to the official CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines in your compliance resources.
