MyMFG enforces plan-level enrollment rules for Medicare. When a plan is available for enrollment, the Enroll button appears in green. When a plan cannot be enrolled through MyMFG, the Enroll button appears grayed out, or the button will display C.I. Enroll (Carrier Initiated) instead. This occurs for one of the following reasons.
Medicare
1. Plans That Cannot Be Virtually Enrolled in MyMFG
Not all Medicare plans that can be quoted in MyMFG can be virtually enrolled through MyMFG. If a plan can be quoted but the Enroll button is grayed out, click C.I. Enroll (Carrier Initiated) below it to be redirected to the carrier's website to complete the enrollment. To view which plans support virtual enrollment in MyMFG, refer to the Medicare Carrier Quote and Enrollment Capabilities guide.
2. Suppressed or Blacklisted Plans
CMS may blacklist or suppress certain Medicare plans, which means they cannot be enrolled through a third-party platform like MyMFG. This is a CMS decision — Messer does not determine which plans are suppressed or blacklisted. Some of these plans may appear on Medicare.gov but will not appear in MyMFG at all if they are suppressed.
If the plan is suppressed, click C.I. Enroll (Carrier Initiated) to be redirected to the carrier's website to complete the enrollment. If you complete the enrollment outside of MyMFG, you will need to add it as an external enrollment to the client's profile.
3. RTS Permissions Not Yet Synced — Wait 24 Hours
If you have received an email from a carrier confirming your Ready to Sell (RTS) status and writing number, your enrollment permissions in MyMFG are not activated by that email. Messer must first receive an official RTS roster report directly from the carrier. Once Messer receives that report, it is automatically synced to MyMFG and your enrollment permissions for that carrier and product are enabled. This process can take up to 24 hours to reflect in your MyMFG account.
If the Enroll button is still grayed out after 24 hours of receiving your RTS confirmation from the carrier, contact Producer Support so the team can investigate.
4. Non-Commissionable Plans
Some Medicare plans are non-commissionable, meaning agents will not receive commissions for enrolling a client in that plan. MyMFG will display a clear notification before submission so agents are aware before completing the enrollment.
